How to apply

If you have completed a nursing qualification in another country you are eligible to apply to go through the NMC registration process for you to work as a nurse.

Depending on where you have gained your qualification you may need to complete:

  • An English Language Test – either the International English Language Test System (IELTS) or the Occupational English Test (OET) at the required level
  • The Computer Base Test (CBT) – Test of Competence which will assess your theoretical nursing knowledge
  • The Objective Structure Clinical Examination (OSCE) – Test of Competence which will assess your clinical nursing knowledge

We suggest you gather the relevant documentation and complete the Pre-Application checklist to ensure you meet all the requirements to start the process.

Visit the NMC website for more information about the evidence needed (opens new browser tab)

Once you have completed the process and obtained your Nursing PIN with the NMC, there will be an opportunity for a Band 5 role within one or our services.
