Make an adult mental health referral
Mental Health Support during Coronavirus (COVID-19)
If you need mental health support, please contact our Talking Therapies service or our Common Point of Entry (CPE) team.
You will be able to speak with a mental health practitioner who will direct you to the right service, including support from our Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team.
Talking Therapies 0300 365 0200
CPE 0300 365 0300
You should only call NHS111 if you have a physical health concern.
They will be able to direct you to the most appropriate service. Only in a medical emergency should you contact 999 or attend the local A&E department.
To make things easier, we have a Common Point of Entry (CPE) team who take new referrals to our mental health services.
Our triage team will be in touch with you as soon as possible to let you know the next steps.

Making a self-referral
If you’re making a self-referral, please check the service webpage first. We don’t take self-referrals for every service and you may need to contact a healthcare professional first.
Other ways to make a referral
If you’re a healthcare professional, you can find more information about and make referrals to some of our services through our Doctors Desktop website.
Our Admissions Avoidance website and app
To help reduce unnecessary hospital admissions, we've developed a website full of useful resources. Healthcare professionals can use this website or download it to your phone as an app.
