Proud to be the official charity for Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

We're committed to improving the lives of patients, NHS staff, and people in our community.

We raise funds to support projects that enhance care and wellbeing but are not covered by NHS budgets.

Every donation makes a difference, and your support helps us realise our vision of making Berkshire Healthcare a great place to get care and a great place to give care.

Our vision

We see a future where Berkshire Healthcare Charity plays a pivotal role in creating a healthier, more vibrant community, where we can enhance healthcare services and wellbeing for all.

Our mission

Our mission is to strengthen the Berkshire Healthcare NHS community by supporting research and development initiatives, providing advanced equipment and technology, and brightening environments beyond the scope of NHS funding.

We're committed to enhancing the wellbeing of patients, NHS staff and carers and aim to create a healthier community, building a better tomorrow for all.

Thanks to your amazing support, we’re able to launch vital patient care projects, enhance wellbeing, and create calming, supportive spaces for both patients and NHS staff.

During 2024/25, we funded several impactful projects, including:

  • enhancing clinic rooms with sensory equipment for Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services
  • distributing 250 winter essentials packs to vulnerable patients through our district nursing teams
  • providing memory keepsakes to families receiving palliative care, helping them cherish precious moments

Thank you to Morrisons Foundation

The charitable arm of the supermarket, Morrisons, extended a £9,968 grant to transform the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) spaces at Wokingham Hospital into more friendly environments for young people during what can be a very challenging time in their lives.

New modifiable lighting, projections, artwork, and sensory tools have created a calming atmosphere for patients, helping young people feel more comfortable and supported during their care journey.

Our achievements are only made possible through the unwavering support of our community and corporate partners.
