We’re proud to be among the top NHS Trusts in England

We’re delighted to share that we’ve been ranked third in the country among Mental Health and Community Trusts in the new NHS league tables. This recognition reflects the care, kindness and commitment that our staff bring to their roles every day.

Health and Social Care Secretary Wes Streeting said:
“I want to thank everyone at Berkshire Healthcare - you are leading the way by demonstrating what top quality healthcare looks like, even at a time when the NHS is under tremendous pressure. Your position at the top of the new league tables is a testament to your hard work, professionalism and commitment to patients, and I want you to know it hasn’t gone unnoticed.
“Our goal now is to take the best of the NHS to the rest – I know you will continue to lead by example and share your best practices with colleagues across the country. And we want you to put your foot down on the accelerator and continue to show our country’s health service what’s possible.
“I want to thank you all personally for the care you deliver every single day – you should be hugely proud of this achievement.”
We would like to echo this message and extend a heartfelt thank you to every member of our team. This achievement belongs to us all – whether we work directly with patients or behind the scenes - and we should be proud of the difference we make for our patients and communities every day.
What are the NHS league tables?
The NHS league tables are a new initiative from the Department of Health and Social Care. They rank every NHS trust in England on a range of measures, such as quality of care, patient outcomes, and operational performance. The aim is to drive up standards, increase transparency, and help trusts learn from one another by highlighting what’s working well. These tables are updated regularly and are designed to celebrate success and support improvement across the NHS.
