New Sport in Mind activities this April

Sport in Mind volunteer

Sport in Mind are reintroducing some of their activities in Reading throughout April.

The charity uses sport and physical activity, such as Basketball, Football, and Walking, to help improve the lives of people living with mental health difficulties.

Sport and physical activities are a great way to boost your confidence, fitness, and energy levels, and Sport in Mind have a range of activities to suit everybody.

The sessions will be open to anyone over the age of 18, and experiencing a mental health challenge.

You don’t need to live in Reading, or book your place in advance, but all visitors are asked to complete a registration form at their first session. You can complete the form on the day, or online.

Every effort has been made by Sport in Mind to make these activities safe, and easy to join.

All participants will need to follow social distancing, but masks and face coverings are optional.

Please be aware that there are no toilets available on site for any of the activities, and you may need to pay for parking.

Contact them if you’d like to know more, and to confirm the date and time of activities if lockdown guidelines change.
