When searching for good quality health information online, the National Library for Health (now known as Health Information Resources) is an excellent place to start  - the role of the NeLH is to provide health care professionals with the knowledge and know how to support health care related decisions. The site contains a number of links to full-text databases (password required), guidelines and current information. There are also specialist collections by subject and profession.
