Making information accessible

We want to make sure that anyone with a disability, impairment or a sensory loss accessing our services is given information that they can understand and provided with the communication support they need.

This includes carers or parents of patients with a disability or impairment.

To make sure we are supporting you in the best way, we might ask you about any communication or information preferences when you register with us. You can also tell us at any time if you have a particular requirement.

The types of different format options we can offer include:

  • British Sign Language (BSL)
  • Large print
  • Braille
  • Audio tape
  • Easy read
  • Email
  • Text

If you have any questions about communication or information preferences, please speak to your clinician or email us.
