Our Patient Information Point (PIP) can provide you with information and about illnesses, health or social care services, or where you can get support for many different health conditions.
Our aim is to help you better understand what choices you have, so that you can manage your own health, as well as helping you make plans about the future.
We’re based at West Berkshire Community Hospital, opposite the main reception area.
We offer a quiet room where you can read leaflets and guides, or talk to one of our PIP Volunteers who can guide you to the right support websites and apps.

Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology will read your vehicle registration as you enter the car park and you will need to use the payment machines located in the hospital reception at the end of your visit.
If you are a Blue Badge holder or volunteer driver, you need to visit the main reception on arrival and provide your vehicle registration number.
If you are a paper permit holder, you will need to change your permit over to a digital one by emailing nicola.kirk@berkshire.nhs.uk

Route:
From Newbury:

- Travel east on the A4 (London Road) toward Thatcham.
- The South Entrance to the hospital is directly off the A4 and can only be accessed by vehicles coming from Newbury (left turn into the site).
From Thatcham direction:

- You cannot turn right into the South Entrance from Thatcham.
- Instead, use the North Entrance, which has unlimited access.
- The North Entrance is located on Turnpike Road, off the Garden Centre roundabout on the A4.
