HCSW roles involve assisting clinical teams, so you’ll be working with nurses, doctors, AHPs, and administrators to provide great patient care.

You will be involved in the care of patients who are managing a long-term health condition or recovering from an illness, injury, or operation.

You could work in:

• mental health services, on our inpatient wards at Prospect Park Hospital, or as part of multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) supporting people in the community
• physical health services, including inpatient rehabilitation wards, outpatient clinics, community nursing, and intermediate care.
• learning disability services, on our inpatient ward or in a variety of community settings
• children’s services, supporting outpatient clinics, school clinics, and home visits
