Make an appointmentWhat is sexual assault?
Sexual assault is any sexual activity that happens without your consent. This includes unwanted touching, forced sexual acts, coercion, or threats.
You are never to blame, what happened to you is not your fault.
Sexual violence is a crime, no matter who commits it or where it happens. Don't be afraid to get help.
What to do if you’ve been sexually assaulted
If the incident happened recently, it’s important to seek medical care for any injuries, get tested for STIs, and consider emergency contraception if needed.
If the incident occurred within the last seven days, we may refer you to a sexual assault referral centre (SARC) for specialist support.
If the assault happened in the past, we still offer services to support your health and wellbeing, you're not alone.
Reporting to the police is entirely your choice. Whatever you decide, we’re here to help.
How our Garden Clinic can help
We offer trauma-informed care that’s tailored to your individual needs, including access to emergency contraception, STI testing and treatment, and HIV post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP).
You’ll also receive emotional support, referrals to specialist counselling, and guidance around police reporting, only if you choose to pursue it.
We’re here to provide clear information about your next steps and offer ongoing support every step of the way.
