We have developed a range of training and education opportunities to suit a wide range of staff.

Each year, your line manager will help you identify what might help you reach your short and long-term development goals. 

You’ll have the opportunity to take part in internal and external training courses and conferences to help you develop new skills and grow in your role. These can be face-to-face or online (e-learning and webinars).

If you decide to continue with your education, we’ll support you (as applicable) through:

• study days
• advanced nurse practitioner courses
• Master’s programmes

We can help you find a mentor from our Trust or another NHS organisation.

We have a range courses to help develop your management style. They are suitable if you're in your first management role or are an experienced leader.

We have a medical library at Prospect Park Hospital in Reading.

Through our online portals, you’ll also have free access to the latest research publications, articles, journals, and databases.
