Overview

Nurses play an important role in delivering high-quality care within our services.

Adult nursing

We have community nursing opportunities in a range of services.

This includes specialist roles, such as:

  • Cardiac Rehabilitation
  • Bladder and Bowel (Continence)
  • Urgent Community Response (UCR)

Community nursing can allow you to work independently and flexibly for a good work-life balance.

Mental health nursing

We offer roles caring for people in our community or on our inpatient wards at Prospect Park Hospital.

We also have roles in specialist services, meaning you could be caring for a certain group of people in the community.

This includes:

  • veterans (Op COURAGE)
  • people who have been arrested or charged (Liaison and Diversion)
  • children, young people, and their families

Learning disability nursing

You could join one of our multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) supporting people who have a learning disability in the local community. You might work in our intensive support team or provide specialist support to those needing inpatient treatment.

Children's nursing and health visiting

Our children’s nurses work in schools and the community to support children, young people, and the people who care for them. Depending on the role, you may be providing, health and development advice, mental health support, or immunisations.

We have roles at all levels, from trainee positions to specialist health visiting.

Why join us

We will help you reach your full potential. As a combined mental health and community trust, we have a range of career paths for nurses. You will have access to various training opportunities to improve your skills and knowledge.

If you are newly qualified, our preceptorship programme could be a good fit for you.
