What are the NHS league tables?

The NHS league tables are a new initiative from the Department of Health and Social Care. They rank every NHS trust in England on a range of measures, such as quality of care, patient outcomes, and operational performance. The aim is to drive up standards, increase transparency, and help trusts learn from one another by highlighting what’s working well. These tables are updated regularly and are designed to celebrate success and support improvement across the NHS.
