Parking information

There is no on-site parking available at Nicholsons House.

Due to the redevelopment works, the existing on-site disabled parking is no longer available. However, patients and visitors can still be dropped off as usual at the fire exit.

Alternative disabled parking is available on Kings Street, approximately a 6-minute walk from Nicholsons House, as well as in the nearby car parks listed below.

Nearby car parks within a short walking distance:

West Street Car Park - 4-minute walk - up to 2 hours: £4.40

Grove Road Car Park - 8-minute walk - up to 2 hours: £2.00

Drop-off Arrangements

Patients who would normally be dropped off at the fire exit can continue to use this arrangement.

Taxis, carers, family members, and patient transport services may still use the usual drop-off point to assist patients who are unable to walk from the nearby parking locations.

When these changes apply

Access to Nicholsons House via the new covered tunnel from the High Street will be in place from Friday 10 July.

The changes to access and parking will be in place for the full duration of the shopping centre redevelopment works.
