Interim Chair
Mark joined us in September 2016. He was formerly a trustee and chair of a homeless charity in Berkshire and Vice President of the Institute of Customer Service.

Julian Emms
Chief Executive
Julian was appointed our CEO in 2012, and has overseen our successful transformation into a Foundation Trust, our integration with community health services, and our latest CQC rating of ‘Outstanding'.
Debbie Fulton
Director of Nursing and Therapies
Debbie qualified as a nurse in 1989 and has undertaken a number of management and leadership roles within the Trust. She served as Deputy Director of Nursing before being appointed Acting Director of Nursing and Therapies in December 2018, and has held the position permanently since July 2019.
Alex Gild
Deputy Chief Executive
Alex joined the NHS in 1996 developing his professional finance career in acute trusts and a strategic health authority. Alex came to Berkshire Healthcare as Deputy Director of Finance in 2006 and after acting into the role for 18 months was appointed Chief Financial Officer in 2011. In 2021, Alex stepped away from finance leadership and became our Deputy Chief Executive.
Paul Gray
Chief Financial Officer
Paul joined the NHS in 1999 as a Graduate Trainee. He has held a number of senior roles in both acute and specialist providers before joining the Trust in 2018 as Director of Finance and is now Chief Financial Officer.
Dr Tolu Olusoga
Executive Medical Director
Tolu joined the NHS in 2003 and has worked as a Consultant Old Age Psychiatrist since 2010, undertaking senior medical management and leadership roles since 2011, before his current appointment as Medical Director in March 2025.
Theresa Wyles
Chief Operating Officer
Theresa qualified as a Mental Health Nurse in 1994 and has undertaken several management and leadership roles with us, most recently as the Divisional Director for Mental Health before becoming Chief Operating Officer in 2025.
