I’m trained in Creative Art Therapies, and manage the Family Action Young Carers Service. I have 20 years’ experience supporting young carers and I’m keen to ensure the voices of children and young people are heard in health and care.

I am a Wokingham Borough Councillor for Maiden Erlegh and Whitegates Ward. I am Vice Chair of the Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee, a member of the Planning Committee, and an Earley Town Councillor for Redhatch.
I have volunteered for six years at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, driving mobility buggies, and before retirement spent 30 years as a company director in technical research and testing for the construction industry, including health-sector work.
I am a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of two engineering institutions, passionate about the links between environment, pollution, climate change, and public health, and I have lived in Earley for over 40 years with my family.

I've worked mostly in the financial sector and I enjoy the arts. As a survivor of child abuse, I’ve volunteered across mental health institutions for over 10 years to fight against the stigma with abuse and provide better care for victims.

PhD in mathematics by education and software engineer by trade, I was elected Reading Borough Council Councillor in 2022. Vice Chair of the Adult Social Care, Children's Services and Education Committee. Substitute on the Health and Wellbeing Board.
