Mental health is of great personal importance. I’m enthusiastic to promote the connections between local authorities and the NHS and contribute to the benefit of our communities. I’m a microscopy scientist and a Trustee for Citizen Advice Bureau.

As a patient Governor based in Ascot, I’m keen to represent my community, and ensure that connections can be made easily into all the services offered by the Trust. With over 30 years’ experience in marketing, I’m also passionate about open communication and promotion of valuable mental health and community support services.

Appointed Governor for Wokingham
I am a Wokingham Borough Councillor for Maiden Erlegh and Whitegates Ward. I am Vice Chair of the Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee, a member of the Planning Committee, and an Earley Town Councillor for Redhatch.
I have volunteered for six years at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, driving mobility buggies, and before retirement spent 30 years as a company director in technical research and testing for the construction industry, including health-sector work.
I am a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of two engineering institutions, passionate about the links between environment, pollution, climate change, and public health, and I have lived in Earley for over 40 years with my family.

PhD in mathematics by education and software engineer by trade, I was elected Reading Borough Council Councillor in 2022. Vice Chair of the Adult Social Care, Children's Services and Education Committee. Substitute on the Health and Wellbeing Board.
