Our Berkshire Adolescent Unit (BAU) is based at Wokingham Hospital and provides 24/7 care for children and young people with severe mental health problems and those with serious eating disorders.
Information for all visitors
To protect both our patients and our staff caring for them, we’re putting new guidelines in place for visitors due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
Please read these before coming to our clinics and hospitals or receiving care in your home.
Our Berkshire Adolescent Unit is open to patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Our general office opening times are:

Our visiting hours are:
|6pm - 8pm||6pm - 8pm||6pm - 8pm||6pm - 8pm||6pm - 8pm|
If you'd like to visit outside of these times, please contact the ward staff.
We have a range of facilities at Wokingham Hospital, including:
- Wheelchair and step-free access
- Access to disabled toilets
- A translation service
- A braille translation service
- A signing service
- A children's play area
- A café
We have free on site parking for our staff and patients as well as disabled parking to provide easy access to our site
