Our research and development
Research is an everyday part of the NHS. It is critical in helping us to continue developing new treatments, understand and prevent illnesses, and improve our patients’ and service users’ quality of life.
Our research focuses on how different therapies affect behaviour and feelings, as well as how successfully medicines work. We put our findings into clinical practice wherever possible to help our patients with their treatments.
Take part in our studies
By joining one of our studies, you’ll get access to new treatments that otherwise might not be available for years.
You’ll also help us drive up the quality of the services we offer and prove better outcomes for our service users, carers and the wider population.
How to get involved with research
If you want to join one of our research studies, please speak to your clinician or contact our Research and Development team.
