Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust provides community health services to the population of Berkshire including mental health services. Most mental health care is provided by General Practitioners in their surgeries. For some people however, specialist mental health services are required which are normally accessed through people's General Practitioners.

 

If you are a member of the public and are seeking help and advice about a mental health problem for you or for someone you know, the best person to contact in the first instance is your local General Practitioner who is best placed to assess the problem and advise you.

Usually if you and your General Practitioner decide that specialist help is needed then your General Practitioner would normally contact us after which the and we will make all the necessary arrangements to see you and work with you to agree and individual treatment and care plan.

All enquiries about our services and all people who are newly referred to our services should call Common Point of Entry on 0300 365 0300.
For those who are already receiving our services please continue to use the numbers you have been given by your care co-ordinator.
